The Community Service ICT Volunteer Program / RTIKAbdimas is a Tridharma collaboration between the Garut College of Technology and Indonesian ICT Volunteers. Students carry out RTIKAbdimas in groups as field assignments for the ICT Volunteer course. Students gain digital literacy competencies from the Information Systems and Technology Practicum. Students gain their teaching skills from the extra-curricular activities of the ICT Community.
Program Relawan TIK Abdi Masyarakat / RTIKAbdimas merupakan kerjasama Tridharma antara Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut dengan Relawan TIK Indonesia. Mahasiswa melaksanakan RTIKAbdimas secara berkelompok sebagai tugas lapangan mata kuliah Relawan TIK. Mahasiswa memperoleh kompetensi literasi digital dari Praktikum Sistem dan Teknologi Informasi. Mahasiswa memperoleh kemampuan mengajarnya dari kegiatan ekstra kurikuler Komunitas TIK.
The Garut College of Technology has developed an educational and training curriculum for members and administrators of ICT Volunteers with a learning time of 1,720 minutes, or 20 credits. The syllabus and lesson plans for the ICT Volunteer course are in line with the education and training curriculum for ICT Volunteer members, where RTIKAbdimas activities are their field assignments.
Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut telah mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi anggota dan pengurus Relawan TIK dengan waktu pembelajaran selama 1.720 menit, atau 20 SKS. Silabus dan rencana pembelajaran mata kuliah Relawan TIK sejalan dengan kurikulum pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi anggota Relawan TIK, di mana kegiatan RTIKAbdimas merupakan Tugas Lapangannya.
Students from other tertiary institutions can take this local defining course. The implementation of a simultaneous national program involving many universities in various regions can accelerate the development of digital human resources in Indonesia and is in line with the vision of the Garut College of Technology, "To become a superior higher education provider in the field of engineering with a globally competitive output based on local wisdom. by 2030".
Mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi lain dapat mengikuti mata kuliah penciri lokal ini. Pelaksanaan program secara serentak nasional yang melibatkan banyak pergurua tinggi di berbagai wilayah dapat mempercepat pembangunan sumber daya manusia digital di Indonesia. Hal ini sejalan dengan visi Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut, “Menjadi Penyelenggara Pendidikan Tinggi yang Unggul di Bidang Kerekayasaan dengan Luaran yang Berdaya Saing Global Berbasis Kearifan Lokal pada Tahun 2030”.
